Local dealers that will add cruise control to BCM

I know there are threads on how to add cruise and such but I am having a heck of a time finding a dealer in the mesa area that will even talk to me about enabling cruise in the BCM, I have done mods like this on many other cars and never needed the dealer as kia/hyundai and ford already had it enabled. so what kind of convincing do I need to do for chevy. I would like to add fogs at some point as well but these service advisors think I am crazy when I ask them to enable the cruise. They swear it is impossible. All they can suggest is calling a guy in to install the rostra kit which is such a cheap looking wire mess gimmick I would never begin to think of installing. I have 1 more dealer that is 40 miles away I may try but if anyone has a hookup in AZ that would be much appreciated.

To program the BCM they need a special code that comes with these kits.

Don't ask why, its a $50 steering wheel and a $200 code.
I found a cruise kit on ebay that still had the code with it.

Fog lights can be installed with a relay to the parking lights so you dont need programming.
But you'll need to extend some of the wires that come with the kit and tap into the parking lights.

This may be part of your problem. Call & ask to speak with the service manager.

Well bought the wheel from chevy with the code and they wont flash my car because its a restored salvage title, go figure. This came from corperate, they would not release the auth or whatever. Got a refund at least.
