Malfunctioning radio

Took my car, with 2,100 miles, to the dealer today. Seems the bluetooth radio has screwed up. The tuning button started malfunctioning and they are ordering me a new one. The button became too sensitive. If you just barely touched it it was the same reaction as the pushing function to make it switch from selection to changing the selection. If that makes sense.

They were happy to see that it's going to be fixed.

I havent experienced the described issues, however three times now the radio has reset itself. It retains my favorites, but my tone settings get reset. I first thought it happened when I reset the MPG display, but it happened out of nowhere twice.

The tone settings are kind of weird. They are tied to each format. You have to set the tone settings for each. Sirius/XM, CD, radio, MP3 etc. retain their own settings.

I consider that a great feature since I run EQ on my iPod!

I look at the tone settings for the different sources as a huge asset. You can tune your sound for the different sources, and in the case of broadcast FM vs MP3, there can be some vast differences.

Wingman> The good thing about my issue was that I could sit there in the service bay and replicate it on demand. On one like yours, it's going to be more difficult. There could be a lose connection on your radio's memory power supply or even at the fuse box.

Thats interesting on the tone settings for each source. That may be what my issue is.

Awesome if that's it. I got a call from the dealer and just 24 hours after they ordered the part, it's in. I get a new radio tomorrow.

I've noticed a few weird occurrences with Turbo's radio too. Nothing bad enough to visit the dealer for though.

Radio "auto" off setting?

In my LS (with the upgraded radio w/ CD and 6 speakers), occassionally I'll shut off the vehicle with the radio on...come back later, start her up and the radio is off. It doesn't happen consistently. Anyone experience this issue? I've had one occurrence where my settings had reset, also.
