missing the fade option

So I got the 4 speaker set up for my Sonic intending to add rear speakers afterwards. I am noticing that there isn't a fade option at the moment. I'm wondering if anyone knows if fade becomes available after adding rear speakers, or if there is some other way to activate it.

No fade option adding the rear speakers (i do it in dealer Chevrolet) only balance (left/right) but no fade, sorry.

That's what I was expecting unfortunately. Thank you for the information. At the least, I know my options now.

if your wanting to do a custom stereo setup, there's plenty of radio threads on the forum. just do a search and any of your questions will be answered.

If you add rear speakers, it will not aautomatically add the option. You will have to get them to reflash the radio.

I've already looked into this option. I don't believe any wire is ran to where the rear speakers are.

Very strange.
The fade of the OEM AM /FM Cassette in my Plymouth Sundance works fine.
