My bloody tail pipe fell off!?

Driving a short drive from my rink to my apartment, I was accelerating heavily to get up to highway speed from a 30mph ramp. Well I heard a loud, metallic KERDANK on the road behind me. "Welp, too late to change it now."

I got back to my apartment and sure enough- the tail pipe from my ZZP catback exhaust was gone. What's weird is that I tightened down the clamp holding it very tight, seeing as it was the only thing holding it. Pics attached.

Even weirder- the clamp is still there, and still tight and not movable by hand. So how the actual **** my exhaust pipe came out is beyond me. I tried to go back to that intersection and look for it to no avail. I emailed ZZP and told them about it. This is the second major issue I've had with this system, the first being that the joint between the S-pipe and the muffler constantly fell apart and couldn't last more than 2 days between fixes. They were great about it and repaired it for free. Hoping this will be the same...

High quality stainless steel exhaust is like that. It is pretty tough stuff. I had T-304 exhausts on two other vehicles and had similar loosening issues.

You might try some high temperature silicone "wood stove" adhesive applied to the surfaces before mating. Smear a film of it around on each piece, insert and let set for a couple hours if you can. Then tighten it. You must let it cure before exposing to high temps. Over night would be best or 24 hours.

It worked on my exhausts.

I'll assume there is no hanger on the tail pipe? If that clamp was ever removed and re-used, it may be weak, or just wasn't tight enough in the first place.

A quick trip to a muffler shop to weld it on would be best. I couldn't keep my ZZP system from sputtering at the seams, so I had mine welded.
