Yesterday, I went to a Chevy dealership and was going to make an appointment to get my MyLink updated. The timing didn't work out. They were only open on weekdays and closed at 4:30. So I called another dealership near by and the guy was telling me that they couldn't update it because the car didn't come with the apps on it. For the record, this same guy was probably one of the stupidest people I've ever talked to. He didn't understand a thing I was saying. He said my car had to be under a recall for them to fix it. But the other dealership was going to fix it?
So I then called the dealership I bought the car (about an hour away) and made an appointment for it. She asked no questions and said the times they had on Saturday. She didn't ask for a name or anything, just confirmed my appointment. Have you guys and girls had yours updated? And what do I say when I take my car to the dealership's service department Saturday?
Thanks for the help!
