Mysterious Blue Goo

Found this on the floor mat I had put in the back just behind the passenger seat. I'm not sure what it is, but it's translucent in small amounts, there is some on the tip of my finger in the pic but it's hard to tell (crappy camera phone), but in thicker quantities it is an opaque blue... it was thick, it would not run or drip if I turned the mat sideways or upside-down, it had absolutely no odor, and it was a slight bit sticky. There was none anywhere else, not on the fabric of the seat or anything and I can't really see anywhere that it could have leaked out of. I'm not sure what kind of alien fecal matter (I hope any combination of those last three words becomes an in-text advertisement...) it is because the only known liquids I have had in my car since I last cleaned it out have been milk, beer, and whiskey, none of which could be inherently blue even in the most promising ideal conditions.

Maybe... if so, it may have either come from the seat rail, or maybe even one of the rear headrests I had thrown in the floor if they grease those with the same stuff.

I actually have some coming from the seat rail on my 2010 Sierra, just noticed it the other day. I think it is grease as well, the truck sat in the garage for a few months through the summer while I was deployed.

Yesterday my little boy was riding in the back seat and asked "what is that blue stuff?" Immediately I thought of this thread. I looked back there and sure enough that same blue goo from Aldakoopa's photo was in the passenger seat rail. Looks like a lubricant for the seat. Thanks for posting about it Aldakoopa.

I found this stuff to on the rail of the drivers seat while I was cleaning my car. There was the blue goo and also some yellowish/clear thick goo. I just wiped it off with a towel. Really weird stuff
