Radiator stop leak help

I have a 2015 LTZ that has a radiator leak. I don’t plan on keep the vehicle but for another year or so. I want to add some stop leak to solve the problem instead of replacing the radiator for 800 dollars.

Anyways, I was told to not add it to the coolant reservoir but I don’t know where else to add it. Can I get some suggestions?

Under $100 if you do it yourself.

Not only will it screw over the next guy, its probably not going to solve the issue whatsoever. So you're wasting money on that front.

And $800 for a radiator replacement is ridiculous.

Also, are you sure its the radiator?

Having replaced my radiator I can verify that a new one is something like $109 at the dealer. I can also see how it would be that expensive to have it done, it is time consuming on this car.

Stop leak is horrible stuff. It might stop the leak temporarily, but it will gunk up and possibly clog coolant channels elsewhere, even the rad. Don’t do it. Grab a new rad and do a DIY replacement if possible. Would be way cheaper that way. Stop leaks of any sort will only cause more issues than fix things.
