Removing the Center Console

I will be installing interior neon on my Sedan within the next couple weeks (whenever it gets here), and I was looking for places to run the wires. :banana:

If anyone has taken apart their center console, can they create a DIY thread of how to do so?
Being a full time student and trying to hold a job doesn't leave me with nearly as much time as I would like to work on my car

my general rule of thumb, if i neet to remove it and u cant see screws then jsut tug on it. most of these parts on the interior are like a snap-it model kit. running led's in this thing is stupid easy aslong as u can understand the whole run a wire thing and the whole completion of a circuit thing.

Has anyone figured out how to remove the bottom rear seat cushion in the hatch? It sounds like something has gotten under there and is rolling around on corners. I want to look under and check.

hehe topic was fulfilled so its ok pull done. i wouldnt want to drop $40 on a tube that looks like for the same price i can get led's to do the same thing and all the neon's ive seen in a car are way to bright, tho external thats cool if your into that whole thing lol, i used to help my friend replace his neons on his rice mobile every time he poped one lol, horrible placement on the tubes ftw

I've never had a problem with the gaseous tubes, thats whats in the G6.
He and I do custom car work for people we know, painting breaks, neon, changing oil, tire rotations, anything small that we can do. We like working on cars so why not earn some extra money

but we've found the best placement for exterior neon is the pinch welding along the sides (which the sonic doesnt have ) and along the Back of the front skirt, and somewhere tucked up behind the rear bumper. just make sure you secure the wires real well, and we've never had a problem except for his 2004 Lancer which was the first car we ever did.

well the interior is really easy to rip apart, ive added all sorts of wires in mine with led's the 12 volt and not working on figuring out an amp lol. best part about all this stuff if i learn as i go so its hella fun. if u got questions ask cuz i riped this baby apart a few times

leds are waaay cheaper on ebay than tubes and look exactly the same on interior lighting, the only place tubes look better is exterior lighting
