Steering Wheel Cover

Anybody have one?

I was looking for some and was wondering what size would fit the Sonic. I saw some real nice black leather ones that you actually have to use a needle and thread to install.

Just wondering if anybody had one or knew of any good looking ones.

Why would you want a steering wheel cover?

They don't look good and they don't really benefit in any way.
I've never grabbed my steering wheel and said "Oh that's hot/Oh that's cold"
Seems like a total waste, IMO.

Looking into a wheel upgrade. I think a few others have done it. All the wheel covers I have seen look like poop.

I've got one.

I got it because it was $55 compared to $190 for RS wheel, and it's real leather and sewn on. I couldn't stand touching the nasty plastic/rubber wheel all the time. Plus it adds a bit of meatiness for better grip.

In real life the gray parts match the dash better than in the pic.

I got a Wheelskins on my last car, it's nice thick leather and you have to stitch it on, it was nice. Comes in a lot of color combos too. They are sized for your steering wheel, not one size fits all.

yes I had 1 on my last car too and I really enjoyed it which is why I got 1 for the Sonic.

its way better than normal steering wheel cover and for the money it beats getting a new steering wheel

thanks. the process is simple but time consuming and tedious. it took me over an hour for sure.

you have to be careful about skipping the same number of holes on the back as you do on the front when you get to the large spoke sections. if you look closely at my pic you can sew a few stretch marks on the left side that are not on the right side. this is because i didn't skip the same number of holes on the back when I went over the spoke. it's not a big deal and it doesn't bother me, but if you're really anal about stuff then make sure you pay attention while you're installing it.... and wear gloves.
