I'm so disappointed in my Chevy sonic. I bought mine new in 2013 May, I have 88,900 miles so as can see lots of highway miles. It super cold last week here in Chicago, I got error code 84 on my dash, both check engine lights, car wouldn't rev and Traction control warning light. I drove the car 1/2 mile, got back home thinking I'm in trouble. Shut it off, restarted a few minutes later, all the lights went off except 1, but car was driveable. Since I had a recall, made an appoint for 3 work days later, earliest one they had. Weekend didn't drive th car at all. Monday morning same problem, same fix. Got to work, still very cold, but sun was shining. Start car up at nite, no errors at all. Next morning same error/fix, but it warmer, but now it intermittently totally dying. So I drive it to dealer, he is saying someone try to clean throttle body and it gunked up. Which is not true, only done oil changes, tire rotation, air filter changes. I had a turbo failure warning back in august. Same thing, turn car off, light goes out. Now dealer wants me to buy extended warranty plan. Anyone else heard this crap?
