Wheel Locks?

Anyone know where I can find the right locking lug nuts? I looked on amazon and ebay but whenever I enter in 2012 Sonic for the model it says the set does not fit. I need them for the stock 15" wheels. Thanks.

why? anyone wanting to steal them will have a lug nut removal socket any way.

that and a battery impact, a couple of cinder blocks, and a pickup.

any way, long story short....it's a waste of time for anyone doing any kind of service to your vehicle, and just a simple quick step around for people wanting to steal your rims. if there's a lock made by man there's a pick for it also made by man.

any way, if you're looking for locks you should check mcguard. they're probably the best

the new dodge's have fancy wheel locks..The outter part of the lock is actually a collar that spins on the lock, so even if you smash a socket on the lock it will just spin on the outter collar and not the actual lug nut..pretty nifty

Ehhhh. I agree that they can't stop a thief, but they will slow them down, and most thieves are lazy by nature (otherwise they would just get a real job) and will just move on to an easier target.

Also, if you've ever busted a lock lug off, it's not quiet. Plus it'll take 4 correct improper sized socket to destroy. If they are valuable and the thief is determined, he'll get'em. But read OP's post.

Stock 15's......... Lock lugs will protect them likely.

The lug nuts dimensions are 12mm x 1.5mm.

Lest we forget they are often just as good at preventing technicians from working on your wheels, second hand owners from changing wheels and occasional even the original owner from fixing a flat.

I can personally attest to pounding a standard socket onto a "wheel lock" to remove it because the owner lost the key. It can be suprisingly easy and usually onyl takes 1or2 of 4 common lug size sockets.. really great invention said no one ever.

OP if you get wheel locks get good ones..... and then DO NOT LOSE THE KEY.

mcguard has what you want. i would suggest stopping at autozone or ordering from amazon. it's cheaper than ordering direct.
