ZZP downpipe

I just replace with the stock coverter with the ZZP downpipe and now while driving down the road I hear rattling and it's worse in idle, have any ideas?

Somethings loose. Check all the bolts, make sure the V-band is tight, and make sure you can't wiggle the DP while under the car. If you can then the vband isn't tight enough.

I couldnt wiggle anything, I double check before I started my car up. I'll check the v clamp again though think it's probably that

When you re-install the v-band clamp your gonna have to go tighter than when the stock cat was on because the little tabs on the clamp stop when the Oem is installed, with the aftermarker DP you will bend them closer together

If it's one of those chinese knock-off vband clamps, then that's probably where the leak is coming from. They are horrible.

Vibrant makes some of the best exhaust clamps, like this. They are expensive though, starting at $30-40.

I actually had to grind those tabs/ears off to get the clamp tight enough for a good seal with my ZZP V-band.

Until I did that I had the clamp as tight as possible and I could still wiggle the DP a little bit.
