Default A few questions regarding Trifecta (Before I buy)

(1) What is the difference between the Advantage and the Elite, other than the $100.00 price difference? I've read through the descriptions and don't notice any difference.

(2) The descriptions say that it "includes a flash loader device". I assume this means the cable that connects the ECM to my laptop?

(3) Is this something that I can do myself, or would I need a tech to help me? Where exactly does this cable connect to on the Sonic? Is is something that I can get to without removing a bunch of parts?

Thanks in advance!

Pam

The advantage is for a stock Sonic no mods and elite is for if you have mods.
Basically paying the extra hundred bucks for them to adjust their base tune to work with your mods.

The tune is loaded through your OBDII port under your dash.

Also you can absolutely flash the tune yourself. There are a few threads on this forum and many videos on YouTube that walk through it step by step.

OK that makes sense. I'll just get the advantage, and if I ever add mods I'll pay the extra $100.00 to upgrade to Elite.

The only mods I foresee are possibly an improved intake.

Thanks!

Haven't been able to find any. What search term do you use to find them?

Thanks,

Pam

Definitely consider BNR especially if you decide to do more mods. You get multiple tunes and lifetime support.

Last time I checked, Trifecta doesn't support the wastegate actuator mod or the Ignition upgrade. So be warned if you want to do future mods.
