I just watched the South Park episode where Cartman makes fun of gingers so the rest of the boys turn him in to one while he's sleeping. Still one of my favourite episodes ever.

That's not the best thing to do. I know a few people who purposely park les than an inch away from cars parked like that. They did it on both sides of a woman in a Mercedes once. She had to wait over an hour for them to move so she could get in her car. She called the cops but they laughed at her and offered to write her a ticket. The cop couldn't keep a straight face when the other drivers showed up. :banana:

I'm one of those people who do that to people who take up 2 spaces. If ya don't want it hit park further back in the lot not up front!
Can you count yourself as an idiot. I went to turn around after sitting in construction traffic for several minutes and ran the lower front air dam area into a low concrete barrier. Scraped the paint pretty good but no real damage. Not particularly happy with myself. My wifes prius is a whole nother story for attracting dings.

I definitely follow a few rules for parking:
Darin's Rules for Door Ding Avoidance.
1) Park AWAY from ALL minivans/SUV's, and definitely do not park next to any 2 door car with long doors like old Camaros, Caddy's, etc. Especially do not park next to any vehicle with the stick figures of their 40 kids plastered to the back window.
2) If there is a strong South wind, park at the south end of the lot to avoid any runaway carts from crashing into my ride.
3) Park as far away from the door as humanly possible.
4) Never take up 2 spaces, as you'll only anger someone who may do more than just park right next to you.
5) Take an end spot if at all possible as you can cut your risk of a door ding by 50%.
6) If going to a questionable parking lot in a crowded area, persuade your girlfriend/wife/significant other to take their ride instead of yours.
Don't get too upset when you get a ding. I followed all those rules and managed to keep my old ride ding free for 3 years. That all changed in a 30 minute baseball sized hailstorm that just about destroyed my car.
