And are you aware of new rebates that are coming out? I was told that information was not released until the previous rebate ends.
No I do not know.... Sonic has Love it or leave it or $250 off now in my region

I was told by the people I know at the dealer that they don't know in advance what is coming. But if that is true than I am shocked. Current rebates on the 2012 models are $250....so that is 2-4X the current rebates on a brand new limited model. Not saying it's not happening just surprised if it's true.
It's a 2013 model. Rebates on end of year models are often not carried over to the new year model.
The only rebate I know of is the 250 which ends in a week or so. On top of that isn't it common for rebates to apply to only the older model year?
OK. But still the only rebate I see for Sonics is the 250 love it or leave it rebate and that ends very soon.
Not to dwell too much on semantics, and the following not withstanding, there are rebates directly available to the consumer and rebates that go to the dealer and may or may not be passed on to the consumer. So you are right, in general there are always rebates, but a dealer rebate (incentive) may not be generally known where the consumer rebate (incentive) will usually be well advertised therefore generally known.

Base Camaro manual trans $24,245 including destination
Base Sonic RS manual trans $20,995 including destination
Did not look for price of auto trans but should be same or close.
So only $3250 separates one from a bare bones Camaro when compared to a well optioned Sonic!

Just got off the phone with my contact. He gave me his estimated OTD price after fees, taxes, destination charge, etc...
'13 Sonic RS, manual trans. (auto will be more)
With sunroof: $23,127.69
Without sunroof: $22,206.82
*This is NOT the accurate final price!* But it will be close to this.
Also, this is the full retail price not including rebates or discounts.
RS with manual MSRP is $20,995, with automatic is $22,280. Both include destination of $795. Sunroof is an additional $850 making the total price with manual $21,845 MSRP or $23,130 MSRP. Not sure where your contact got his information, but his is wrong.![]()

...plus
-transmission
-touch screen radio
-performance tuned dampers
-heated leather front seats with sueded microfiber inserts
-leather steering wheel & shift knob
-raised spoiler
-sexy mustache-less grille
-rear diffuser
-unique wheels
That's a lot of goodies for just a couple k. Worth every dollar imo (if I was paying MSRP that is).
actually, remember you're comparing it to an LTZ.
-transmission?
Both have oneThough yes, gearing. (big whoop)
-touchscreen radio?
Even LT's have that so yea, LTZ has it
- the seats?
I addressed "fancy seats" and the LTZ has heat in em.
ps, suede sucks.
-leather steering wheel?
LTZ has it, but like I said - it gets to be flat wooooo?
- spoiler?
pssh means nothing, my Sedan LTZ comes with a spoiler
- rear diffuser?
(see fascias) not bad, diffusers are cool.
- Wheels?
Better OEM? Meh, if I want better wheels A/M will be a huge improvement. (lighter, better looking, exactly what I want)
- no moustache?
I'd care but replacing it is so easy.
The difference is between $2k-$3k and once I see my sticker, if it's the latter it will DEFINITELY not be worth it.
How about the other elephant - ****ty color choices.
That palette is unthinkable, it makes me think Chevy is a startup company and they can't afford more paint.
Yellow? (Where's laborsmith at?)
Like I said, to each their own, I just can't justify spending almost as much as an FRS on a Sonic when I could have *real performance.
lmao your such an ass!
OK here we go..
-Tranny
stfu! And you say that until I 'whoop' you 'big' time!
-Touchscreen radio
2012's don't have that! Unless it's aftermarket.
-Leather seats, steering wheel, shift knob
LTZ's are pleather aka fake leather.
-Flat steering wheel
For looks I'll admit
-Spoiler
You can't compare hatch and sedan! So it is in fact an upgrade from the current HB spoiler.
(ps. sedan tails are ugly!)
-Wheels
Yes I'll be dumping them for AM also, but they are still better looking than the current wheels imo.
-Mustache
If you're talking about swapping it with an RS grille, can't be done! Don't be fooled by the people claiming it'll fit when it's obviously shaped different.
And who pays sticker price?
