Orange LT Hatch, I-80, PA, American Flag on Driver-side

Orange LT Hatchback. I passed by you on I-80 at the Brookville Exit (76 I think?). You have an American flag sticker on your driver-side rear quarter panel. Was this you? If so, Hello! :)

New Custom Vinyl for my LTZ! :)

I have to say, $ub$onic did an amazing job at what many others have said was impossible and wouldn't do. I made these custom vinyl designs for my car a few years ago, and haven't been able to find anyone willing to cut it. I'm really happy with the end result. :) Now I have to finish cleaning...

    Fog assembly cover removal.

Ok, I need some advice. How are these things supposed to come off? I dipped them on the car, and now I need to remove them so I can clean them. But, I can't seem to figure out how they're clamped on. The clips seem incredibly hard to unfasten, and I think I'm overlooking something. Anyone...

    NeverWet + Plastidip Test

I'm going to be painting my wheels again soon with white Plastidip, and I thought it would be nice to add a layer of NeverWet to them for some awesome water-proofing (especially with the snow season around the corner). I setup a test board today to see how well the Plastidip and the NeverWet...

    Grill and Fog Light Whiteout

I opted to just whiteout the front grill and fogs, and I'll be doing the headlight rings soon as well. For anyone looking to dip your grill like this, I would just recommend leaving it on the vehicle if you can. Taking apart the entire front bumper assembly is a LOT of work. The problem is...

Vote for my front end Plastidip design!

Ok guys, I need your help. I've whipped up a few photoshop designs for the front of the car, and I can't decide which I want to use. I'm really liking the idea of using white instead of black, but they both look pretty sharp. Also, I don't know if the upper part of the front fender is too...

    Plastidip Wiper Arms

Summer vacation is officially here, and it's time to start repainting the car. :) I'll be redoing my wheels again soon as I did before (see the DIY here: http://www.sonicownersforum.com/forum/do-yourself-articles/3325-plastidip-your-17-stock-wheels.html), but in the meantime I thought I'd use...

My LTZ Hatchback Turbo at the BYC.

Took this pic today just minutes before we got slammed with an insane storm. This is at the Bryce Jordan Center & Beaver Stadium in State College, PA. Made it to my car just in time. :) EDIT: Mistyped the thread title. Should have read BJC, not BYC.

Lower Control Arm Replacement and more.

Well, I really messed up the car this time. Driving home on icy roads and the car slammed into a curb on a 90 degree turn. Snapped and bent a lot of the front suspension on my driver-side. We got the car home and I've decided to do a lot of the repair myself. The lower control arm is...

Chilton, Haynes or any repair manual?

I am in desperate need of a repair manual for my 2012 Chevy Sonic LTZ Turbo. The official Chilton and Haynes websites don't show any repair manuals available. Does anyone know of any others?

My LTZ Turbo Hatch has a boo boo ...

A YBC truck driver thought it would be nice to take off the front driver side of my car ... Pending repair once his insurance company actually calls me back. *sigh*

Seasucker Naked Flex Mount inside my LTZ

Just wanted to post some pics of my Seasucker Naked Flex Mount inside my LTZ Hatchback. After taking the pics, I found a way to use this mount to attach to the top dash tray and let my iPad hang in front of the radio, which would be much less obtrusive to my viewing and more convenient to reach...

    Plastidip Rear Hatchback

As a continuation of my plastidip work, I've decided to dip the hatch today similarly to how the z-spec concept was done. The paint is still drying in the pic and I still need to rub off the overspray from under the chrome handle, but you can't really see it anyways.

    YouTube Sonic Dealership Overload

I have to ask, has anyone else gotten frustrated with trying to find some decent videos on YouTube of the Chevy Sonic and just get really sick and tired of seeing all the dealership videos? Seriously, try it sometime: Search Results for "Checy Sonic" sorted by Upload Date: chevy sonic -...
