For starters I have a 2015 sonic hatchback 1.4 turbo. I've had a CAI, ZZP pcv bypass kit and ZZP ported intake installed for about a year with no issues during that time. Factory Tune. I found an oil leak coming from the oil cooler. I've had an unused Dorman turbo assembly sitting in my garage...

I agree with what Rayne is saying, but just go ahead and spend the $30 for a nee coolant reservoir just to rule that out as being the leaking part. The only other part on that side of the engine is the water outlet and a couple hoses....all are relatively cheap fixes.

My only other thoughts could be lifters or fuels injectors. Fuel injectors are def easier and cheaper than lifters.

Start with replacing the vapor purge valve solenoid. I suggest using the ac-delco one.

Could be the ball joint....get it off the ground and start moving the control arm. I had the same issue and it ended up being a bad ball joint....happened around 75k.
