Anyone know if I have to get the whole wiring harness replaced if I have a shortage in the ignition circuit wiring loom? Is the forum dead?

My car isn’t starting. I have a new starter and still nothing. I was told to change the fuses and starter relay but the auto stores only have aftermarket in stock.
