Check etrailer.com for hitchs, there are other brands aside from Curt. I bought a Curt and it didn't fit my model now I gotta try to sell it. With the after market exhaust it will be a gamble on how it fits but as long as it's shaped like the stock exhaust you should be ok. I didn't get one fit...

I mean yeah. Cars do that. Sonics weren't built to last unfortunately but also buying a new car and driving it off the lot, turning around and trying to sell it again drops the value.

What part number is your hitch? I have an RS and I got a Curt trailer hitch but it doesn't fit my car cuz of where the cut out for the exhaust is. I have a 2015

Do you have an RS? I bought a Curt hitch for mine, Rock Auto said it would fit the RS but it doesn't. Now I gotta sell it ☹️
