    Evap Canister Location

    I've been getting a consistent P0496 - Evap System High Purge Flow. I know where the purge valve solenoid is and how to replace it... Where is the charcoal canister so I can replace that as well. Thanks in advance, -Steve

    Is the Evap System a Warranty Repair??

    My Sonic is a 2015 1.8L w/ 73K on it. It's been throwing a P0496 Evap System High Flow Purge code for a few weeks. The dealer alerted me to the code at my last oil change. I asked if it would be covered under warranty. Her response???... "It depends"... OK, depends on what exactly???
