So my wife has a 2013 automatic Sonic and it has a few... quirks..
1. Sometimes when stopped, the car will jerk and stutter. It's at it's worst when the car is "cold", after driving for about 10min, it pretty much goes away.
It varies from how bad it is, most times it isn't terribly bad.. but other times, it's feels like the car is a bucking bronco.
Second issue is that the odometer only shows "---"
Research shows me that this is a fairly known issue but after hours of googling and trying a couple different things, I gave up.
The curious thing is that we got an oil change done on the car and a few days later we noticed an oil change sticker on the windshield listing the mileage the next one needed done at... but I have no idea how the Pep Boys guys managed to figure out the mileage in the first place. I don't think they'd just make up a random number right, since they definitely had to have known the odometer wasn't working.
If anyone has any insight into these, we would be massively appreciative!
