no crank and OBD will not auto ID. I am able to jump the relay and get it to crank but it still won’t start. 272,000 miles. Everything is factory no mods. No engine or security warning light. I can pull codes u0073 and u0100.

I know this is an older post but im having an issue getting the torque converter seated in the transmission. I see the 2 flat spots on the shaft and 1 large set of splines and a smaller set of splines. I can’t get everything lined up.

My engine blew up after 270,000 miles. I can get a good deal on a used engine but it’s in a M/T engine. Just trying to find out if there is really a big difference from A/T and M/T engines. I know the flywheel is different but is there a major difference between the two?

A friend gave me a 2012 Sonic 1.8l. At idle the oil light comes on and there is a rattle in the top of the engine. It goes away at RPM over 1500. I know it's a mechanical oil pump. Could the pump be failing or is it more likely something like the pickup screen is partially clogged. It's full on...
