2 10s and touch screen

finally received the subs amps and 7 inch touch screen already had dash kit and wires.. going to remove the false floor build a custom box to fit in that area so i will have the same amount of cargo area as before when the false floor was in tons of pics will follow should be done friday or saturday

"thoughts" have carpet to wrap the box to match original false floor but friend brought up the idea of rhino lining the box said it helps with sound... not sure but thought's would be nice..

It's possible that the truck-bed coating could help but only if you don't build the box correctly. If properly braced, the coating will do nothing. (Designing and building speakers is one of my hobbies.) Make certain the interior volume is properly sized for the drivers you've selected. PM me if you need help with that. Most manufacturers have recommendations.

Make sure you take lots of pics. I'm interested in seeing how it turns out. Good luck.

How does rhino lining help with sound? Isnt it on the outside of the box?

honestly i have no idea! the way he explained it to me was he compared it to dynamat.. but again thats why i'm asking for thoughts

That doesnt make sense..lol..The only thing i could see is if it helped seal the box..but if the box is built correctly it shouldnt need it..Rhino liner is typically for looks and durability..Dynamat is for sound dampening...like metal on metal or rattling.

work at an audio shop, and in no way does it change way it sounds... unless ur not using the right wood and not sealing it right in the first place, lol

Lowes or home depot carry a dynamat wanna be that works the same. Its cheap enough to do the underlining of your box and your cars chassis. I use it all the time and have it on my doors. Btw nicely built

Wood look right he must be talking about the rattle or the box looks to shallow
