2013 Sonic LTZ with TONS of Codes

Hi everyone, I’m hoping to get some advice on some issues. I’m having with a sonic I just purchased. It is a 2013 LTC hatchback, 1.4 turbo and automatic transmission. With 180k miles

it shows the following codes: P0097, P1101, P2199, P00F5, P0068, P0101, P0106, P0172, P0299

The car runs and drives, but idles rough and doesn’t do well when driving close to 70 mph.

I have familiarized myself with the common PCV issues with the car and I’m hoping to get some tips or advice from others who have been able to fix similar codes.

The previous owner said he put a new PCV valve on it less than a year ago, and it seems that there is no vacuum leak within that currently

I did check inside the intake, manifold system, and found out that the check valve inside of there is gone, which is also a common failure, and have a new intake manifold coming in tomorrow. That being said, I hope, but highly doubt that that intake manifold will fix every one of those codes.

previous owner also said he put a new MAF sensor on last year, but I’m not sure how to test to make sure that sensor is functioning correctly or not.

any tips, tricks, guidance or opinions would be greatly appreciated

When the check valve gets sucked out of the intake manifold, the next inevitable failure is the diaphragm in the valve cover rips and leaks also. I had this problem with my son's Sonic RS right after buying it. I did a bit a of research and found what seemed to be a better solution with the Dorman 615-380KIT replacement kit for the manifold & valve cover. I ordered two of the kits and replaced both parts on my son and daughter's cars for reliability. That's a lot of sensor codes, I wonder if you have a wiring or PCU problem? I'd start by fixing the known PCV issue, then reset the PCU and see what codes return.

That’s what I read as well however, I placed my thumb over that diaphragm part, and it did not affect the engine, running or make any kind of suction type of sound, and then I tested for vacuum leak coming from the oil dipstick with a vacuum gauge, which showed no leak at all. Would you still recommend replacing that valve cover or do you know of any other ways to check and see if it has gone bad?
