Did very minimal research, saw people have good luck while lurking here; bought the kit, verified they turned on before installing them. Everything looked great.
went to the gym that evening and the lights rapidly flashed, then cut off. panic swapped to my brights. I was able to turn them back on, but problem persists.
contacted the company and they were willing to send a decoder and all that but I had no dash warnings, so I was skeptical.
my dad had great luck trying torchbeam products in a different make/model. I’m just disheartened and I’m on the verge of going back to halogens. So I returned the sea lights and told them not to bother with the decoder.
I’ve also found out about the body control module as well as CANbus stuff.. I’m not really willing to splice resistors in permanently modifying the vehicle just to support the LED swap.
the other forum link regarding 2017+ models had expired Amazon links. Not sure what to do now.
was it a faulty pair of lights?
would that decoder have fixed the issue?
