4-way Driver seat??

(Maybe this belongs here.)

The window sticker from my 2013 LT says "SEAT ADJUSTER DRIVER 4-WAY MANUAL". It is 3-way by my count. The owner's manual shows 3.
Are we in agreement that the sticker is wrong?
Note that the front passenger seat is described as 2-way which it is.

Four-way manually adjustable passenger's seat - Driver and front passenger can manually adjust the seating position 4 different ways: move seat forward/back; lower/raise the seatback up/or down.



I see it as the seat moves front to back, that's 2.

Seat goes up and down, that's 2.

Seat reclines and tilts forward, that's 2.

So looks like it is actually 6 way if you ask me but who's counting.

It's just common terminology is the automotive seating industry. I worked as a Quality Engineer at Tokyo Seat Technologies (automotive seats for Honda) for 7 1/2 years. Yes, 4-way manual would be the accurate description.

I went to search for "what is a 4 way adjustable" and then buttplate popped up and I just had to see what a 4 way adjustable buttplate was and then I forgot what I was doing for a bit.

The seat goes backwards and forwards and up and down and the back reclines. Does it really matter what its called.

I wonder how many people will go to see what a 4 way adjustable buttplate is............

I got it.
The 4th adjustment must be the armrest attached to the seat.
