2013 1.4t LTZ 6 speed manual 90k miles. So for a little while now I've had a few issues, not too terrible it seems but are getting worse as miles start to go up. i drive 100 miles a day for work (50 miles both ways) so i get plenty of drive time to feel my car. seems that when taking off with the wheel turned/turning (seems more or less when i go from reverse to a forward drive gear and then accelerate, might not only be when the wheel is turned) i get a clank from the front left which the dealer already said the CV boot is bad or completely off at this point and is still under the 100k mile warranty for the next 10k miles or until march next year. just wondering if anyone could say for sure if that could be a damaged CV shaft/joint since that boot has been off of it for several hundred miles now. #2 i'm realizing that this is NOT normal as my little brothers sonic doesn't do it. When i start the car AND when i shut it off it shutters pretty bad and sends a good shake through the whole car, just changed the plugs about 2 weeks ago. This seems to actually happen a little worse while at operating temp, its super annoying and feels completely wrong like its damaging something or something is damaged. #3 i tried to have the mechanic at the dealer drive it several months ago and feel for this but he said he couldn't feel anything, there is a distinct difference in the vibrations between all the other gears and 3rd gear, 3rd gear has some seriously concerning vibration to it that to me feels like it SHOULD NOT be there at all, not only that but once you get to the high side of 3500-4000 rpm in 3rd it literally just feels like its hurting the car, obviously its not the engine because it would do it in all the other gears under load as well, i can take her up to 6k no problem in first gear (i tend not to as i hate driving her that hard) but it feels strong everywhere else besides 3rd. I still have "gear sets" under warranty in the transmission as its a "lubricated" part which i think is the prerequisite for replacing or repairing standard transmission components but i'm not sure what to tell the dealer when i get there, last time he just blew it off trying to tell me **** he thought i didn't know "see when cars get older, the parts that make em quiet start to wear out" thanks man. didn't know that.
ALSO for anyone wondering, yes i'm definitely taking it into the dealer here shortly but i have a PACKED schedule so in the mean time id like to gather as much information as i can before i go to the dealer and get bull****ted the whole time.
ALSO ALSO i know there is a post on it but i cant seem to find it can anyone give the the Technical Service Bulletin number for the leak underneath the glovebox basically flooding my car every time it rains or when i wash it?
