Howdy. My name is Nick and I am a mechanical engineer living in Ann Arbor. In the next 2 weeks, my wife and I are taking delivery of our new 2012 Sonic LTZ. She previously had a 1999 VW passat that I am tired of dealing with. I drive a trailbalzer right now and wanted to get back to having only GM 4-wheeled products in the drive way. As soon as we drove the Sonic, we fell in love. Great car, great design and bbuilt here in Michigan. Can't complain about that considering I know a few people who built our soon-to-be new car.
Our new car is sitting on the dealership floor room right now and we are awaiting our tax refund to put as down payment. We put the sold sign on it last night and are anxiously waiting.
2012 Sonic LTZ Hatchback
Summit White with Jet black/titanium leather
1.8L with 6 speed auto
moon roof
All the other goodies are standard.
I absolutely love all of the storage options on thsi car as well as the dual golve boxes with a usb charger. The little notch taken out of the lid for the glove box is brilliant and a clue to exactly how focused on teh details GM was.
I'll snap some pictures of it on Friday when we go for some visitation time.
