A Missing Piece Mystery

Found on the passenger side floorboard:

1 flat piece of plastic/rubber approximately 6 inches long and 3/4 inch high. The ends are angled to make a trapezoidal shape.

On the back, there is a small calendar imprinted with punch marks in the various months/years ending in April 2012.

Beneath that, There is also a number: L0209632AA02LCF (the "2" before the "LCF" is larger than the other letter and numbers.
Beneath that it reads: Cav #2

Sooo... anyone have any idea what it is and, perhaps more importantly, where it should live?

Pics please? I found something that I don't know what is underneath my passenger seat also, I'll have to post pics of it this evening. I had posted some in another thread, but I apparently deleted those from existence.

I just tried looking around to see what ur talking about, and for what reason I look I the upper glove box and see the same so called piece laying in there. But mine ends September 2011 and says cav#1, also if u look under the upper glove box door, you see the same type of calendar thing, just slightly bigger

i believe its the piece of upper glove box thingy, mine fell out and read similar.

Thanks all for the replies. I'll check it against the glove box shortly and if I can't make it fit, I'll try posting a pic.

I can't for the life of me find where that piece I had found was, and I don't have pics of it anymore which is strange because A) I didn't intentionally throw the piece away and B) I photographed it with my phone, which I sent to my email, which I saved to my computer, which I uploaded to Photobucket, which I posted to here in another thread, and every single trace of those pictures is just as gone as the piece itself. It's almost like it was some piece of advanced technology that was accidentally dropped inside and the evidence of it ever being in my car was completely wiped away by some guys in suits and sunglasses.

Obviously, that's not what happened because it was just a plastic piece, but it's strange nonetheless. What you and others are describing doesn't exactly sound like what I found anyway. Oh well.

So I decided to get off my lazy ass and go to the car. Here are pics of what I think is being discussed.

Now here's a few pics of it inside the glove box I found it. Doesn't seem to fit anywhere.

This is under the glove box door, has the same calendar looking thing.

Oh, yeah. That thing. Just a little rubber mat... I'm not even sure why it's there to begin with, but mine is in place, and definitely not anything like what I found.

Red Sonic LT and d.p. had it right. In the upper glove box there is a lower shelf and a small upper shelf. The piece slides in the bottom of that upper shelf.
