I generally leave the radio on and use the auto shut-off feature to turn it off when I turn off the car and open the door.
I have an iPod shuffle that I'm going to use to supplement the radio. When I plug in the AUX port it connects automatically, and I can push the Radio/Band to switch back to the radio.
My question is whether keeping the iPod plugged in to the AUX port draws power when the car is off. I'd like to just leave it plugged in 24/7 but I don't want to drain the battery if that's an issue.
