ABS and Stabilitrak lights on...!!!

Hi Everyone, I am new to the forum so I apologize if this issue is on another thread, just could not find it.

We recently bought an used 2012 Sonic LT hatchback, manual, 1.4L turbo.
The previous owner had installed Forgestar Rims, Baer brakes and Ground Control suspension.

The warning lights on the dash for the ABS and Stabilitrak are always on I assume due to the aftermarket parts, also the TPMS light is on but I just found some OEM Tpms valves that will do the trick.

Question is: Is there a chance to get the ABS and Stabilitrak to function properly without having to remove the aftermarket parts?

Baer brakes? Ground control suspension? I don't think either of them makes parts for the sonic

I'm with Sub, I've never heard of either of those companies.

What parts do they replace. Specifically, like rotors, calipers, springs, struts, etc.

Whether you need to go back to stock depends entirely on what the problem is and the root cause. Without more info and a fault code # all we can really say is the parts are suspect or they broke a wire or left a sensor disconnected.

EDIT: or the ABS fuse is pulled. It would also illuminate the parking brake light if that's the case.

Just read that your car is a former show car. It may very well have prototype parts from said companies.

Yes, most likely a pulled ABS Fuse. People do this because traction control refuses to completely shut off otherwise. (Even if you hold down the traction control button)

It is a green fuse with the number "30" on it on the top left of the fuse box. I'm sure you can find more information and images if you search for ABS pulling on this forum.

15" Baer brakes front and back? I am surprised Ground Control did not bring their lowering suspension to the Sonic platform.

If you bought it from Neal Tjin and replacing the ABS fuse does not work he should be able to help.
