Blow off valve/ boost gauge.

Okay, like I said guys I'm new to this whole turbo game, I'm used to a big chevy silverado. Anyway I'm wondering which is the best BOV for my sonic, and will it need a time. I prefer to go atmospheric. And when I'm installing a boost gauge, what vacuum line and where? Diagram or pic maybe? Thanks!

If you want to run an atmospheric BOV, you need a tune. You can purchase a Forge BOV that fits in place of the stock one. If you'd prefer to go with another one, you need to by a block off plate, a BOV, and a hard charge tube with the appropriate mount for that BOV.

If you're ok with a recirculating BPV (bypass valve, recirculates the air back into the intake tract), you can run a Forge BPV tuned or stock.

Not nearly as loud as the atmospheric. As a matter of fact, you probably won't here a BPV without an intake and even then it's much quieter than a BOV

Depends on who you go through. Most people (including me) will suggest BNR EFI live, which is about $500

I run a K&N intake and the stock BOV sound is quite noticeable.

I have an MPFab Intake though I am not sure that it makes big difference. My problem might be that I am coming from running the forge BOV on my stock turbo and now I am running a BPV on the GTX14, so comparatively to me, it is much quieter.

Idk I was gonna get the forge atmospheric and the Megan intake for now since money is right.

There is a vacuum line that runs along the top of the engine that is clamped in with wiring. If it helps I can upload a picture to help give a better visualization of where it is located at!
