This is a little past due but it's time to come out and talk about it...
I have been driving around in a sonic this past week going back and forth to work (roughly 250 miles put on it with my favorite curvy road with some hills and also a straight flat route ). It has an intake and BNR's custom tune.
I'm going to be completely honest when I say this. I've talked to BNR a lot personally back and forth about their tuning (I hope to go wild with my car once I pay it off and can afford it if something breaks)
I'm lucky enough to get to drive this car for work and I will say it is a different car from stock.
The car is so peppy and alive and it makes it so much more fun to drive. I had complete consent to drive it like it was mine and so I have lol I will say the on dash avg is around 23.5 mpg. I wont be helpful about if the mpg take a hit for their tune or not b/c of my lead foot. The smiles per gallon have increased a lot more than a stock sonic so there's always that. (I expect the mpg to be normal if driven normal)
I really need to get my car paid off so I can get full downpipe/exhaust and a custom tune done from them. I'm going to TRY to take it easy next week and see what kind of mpg I can average.. I wont promise that it'll be a completely clean test since it's so much more fun to drive. It's also a lot smoother driving than stock when I have went through town following a cop.. :banana:
