I thought I would post this thread incase this particular issue happens to you. After installing a mamba wastegate actuator, things worked well at first. Then after some drives (usually over 20 minutes) I would notice I was no longer getting any positive boost. At first, I thought maybe the actuator solenoid valve was heat soaked after the engine bay heated up and left permanently in the 'open' position, however, I later noticed if you turn the car off and then back on, the problem is immediately fixed, which led me to believe it was an electrical problem. I used a code reader to find there was an overboost code. I thought that this wouldn't be a problem because I had an aftermarket tune which allowed boost pressure above the stock levels. What I later found out, is that if the boost produced by the turbo exceeds the boost commanded by any tune (even aftermarket ones), the car enters a 'limp mode' and opens the wastegate for the remainder of the drive, allowing little to no positive pressure. To fix this, I had to put a lighter spring in the wastegate, and put less load on the actuator (by changing the number of turns on the actuator rod). Or, reinstall the stock wastegate. If anyone is experiencing similar issues, I hope this was informative.
