Borla Exhaust Released For ALL Sonic Models!

i don't understand why borla has not recorded a sound clip yet , i mean the reason why people buy a performance exhaust is for the sound .

I think the guy with the first one in here has a sound clip of it. I think he's also looking to ditch the resonator to get some more sound out of it as well.

I am ditching the resonator ASAP. It's loud right now on my 1.8. But, I want some more growl, its really deep through 1 and 2 but after that it kinda mellows out.

I hear you, I'm running both on the SLP and I'm getting about the same, growl through 1, 2, and a little in 3rd and then everything else is mellow. Luckily that's exactly what I wanted. Let us know what you think about it after throwing in a straight pipe, I would think that with a slip fit pipe it would be an easy swap. Cut in front of the muffler, throw on slip fit pipe, cut to resonator back length (if needed) and clamp on.

As long as it sounds like a pack of wild midgets getting chewed up by an industrial fan I'm on board. Its very important to me that it scares the **** out of my neighbors and causes seniors to piss their pants.

That's kind of sad..... I can't leave a new part alone for more than an hour before throwing it on, whether it be the Sierra, Sonic or Nightster.... You have a lot more self control than I do!

I hear ya! I still would have found the hour it takes to get it on though!lol If you have a jack, jack stand and a set of socks, ratchet and wrenches it would have been done..... Don't forget about the WD-40 for the rubber and an adjustable wrench to pop the mounts out.

Yeah, I cut mine in the middle of the pipe right as it make the 90˚ turn back to the axle (pointing straight out the back) so that I can weld in a flange if I need to go back to stock when/if I get rid of it.

Once i get all my aftermarket parts then ill be looking to doing a tune. Didnt get a chance to do tge exhaust today. Try to do it in the morning

Take a SH**-TON of pics from different angles?
The last guy took like none.

I want to know what the I.D. is at the flanges and if Borla cheaped out and used smaller pipe or if it stays consistent the whole way through.

(Borla's 300zx exhaust claimed 2.5", and was, for ~2" after the flange then reduced to 2.25"!)
