Bpv adapter

So today I was looking up turbo specs for our cars and it turns out we have the same turbo as the dart and I found a adapter to put other bovs in our stock spot.

I'm still new to owning a turbo car. How would this be done?

With this situation I'm not 100% positive. I'd have to see the part in person. But let's say it's a perfect fit and we had the room to do it basically this would go where the stock bpv is then just for example you have a hks bov you could mount it to this adapter without having to get a hard charge tube. But the once again don't take my word for it because I've never seen this done in person.

I would like to see it done. I figure trifecta tune would work also. If I had extra $ I would try it but yeah not much till I try to get another job.

Turbo from a dart. I work at a Chrysler dealer and this happened to be on a work bench. Maybe someone who knows a little more can figure out if its a match for ours or not.

So if our cars have the same turbo as the dart we have Garrett turbo?

Well for sure the compressor on that turbo isn't a direct fit into our Sonics, but working around that is the easy part. The turbine side is what would be the bigger pain in the rear.

I didnt get a shot of the turbine side. I figured a shot of the compressor where the bpv is would have been sufficient to know if the bpv adaptor will work

we had a Garrett turbo first.

Oh ok I don't even know when dart stated getting turbos

when they were released, but the Sonic was made first.
