I've done a lot of internet research on this over the years. I ran Motul 600 in the tC when I was auto crossing it.
I switched to it because of its much higher boiling point, as I had boiled the stock fluid more than once on hot days at the "track"
The fluid came as part of a Stop Tech kit that included slotted rotors, semi-metallic pads, and braided stainless steel lines for all four wheels.
Due to my own stupidity I ruined the driver rear OEM line and was unable to fully swap out the lines at first so I drove for a week with all new hardware and standard Dot 3 fluid (or whatever Toyota uses)
The fluid switch had very little observable change to the breaking performance in normal driving conditions. But my very next auto x opportunity I hot lapped five consecutive runs with no brake fade at all. The stock fluid was usually toasted halfway thru second runs. This was on the Detroit Belle Isle courses which tended to be tight twisty courses, that most drivers could run in less than 50 seconds. Always in second gear which redlined around 50 if I recall correctly.
The Motul fluid is more hydroscopic, so it will absorb water faster than standard Dot 3. You will have to change it more frequently, but if you need it, it's worth the cost and hassle.
