Can anyone tell me what this is?

So I recently went to change a blown fuse and found this cable tucked inside. I then followed the cable through the door trim piece and found this under my drivers seat.

My best guess would be seat occupancy sensor. The one that will set off the ever so annoying alarm when the seat is occupied and belt not clicked in.
