Captiva Headlight Swap?

Ran across some pictures of a 2011+ Captiva, and was struck by just how similar the front-end styling was to the Sonic.

Now, I love the Sonic's headlights, and I'm not really wanting to get rid of them, but I wanted to ask: Do you think someone who wants to streamline the front of the Sonic could successfully fit a 2011+ Captiva headlight on the Chevy Sonic?

The one you show is a European model, 2011'ish I believe
However I don't think they would fit......
The Chinese market Sonic has those type headlights though

Yep, must be the European version.

The new facelift sonic does have solid lights, but it also would need the entire hood/bumper swap to make the lights fit. These lights looked like they might fit the current bumper/hood combo. That's my primary interest.

Again, I'm not looking to get rid of my lights, but knowing if a swap is available is always nice if there is a guy out there who wants to do it.

All though they look similar I am going to say they will not fit. I have been looking for a headlight similar to those to get rid of the round ones but I haven't been able to find a direct fit. With the Captiva and Sonic there will be differences in shape, size and depth.

The headlights on the 2016 Holden Captiva look like they'd be a closer fit.
