Cd Player Not working

Anyone else have this problem? After 38 seconds the CD player freezes up. I've had my sonic for a few weeks now. Yet today is the first time I tried a CD. We tried 3 and all stopped after 30+ seconds. Going to take it back to the dealer tomorrow I guess. GRRRRR

I put a Tom Petty cd in mine and it played fine. Original CD, not a copy or anything.

Update

Nope brand new Cd's. I took the car to the Chevy dealership and they are ordering a new radio. No matter what cd you put in it...after 38 seconds it freezes.

Sounds like you got a defective Sonic, How many other issues you got?

There are always lemons out there... manufacturing defects exist. At least it isn't the Sync system of last year...

Yeah, the radio is a quick plug n play change. I know it's still frustrating, but the radio is an easy fix.

hang in there and document everything that had give wrong and how many times it was fixed at the dealership...in case it is a lemon, you have something to back you up.

Also keep in mind that you also got one in the first month of production. Teething problems sound pretty bad in your case.
