Cell Phone Mounts?

I am looking for a small simple cell phone mount that uses the card slot under the radio controls. Any suggestions? I am thinking about making one that is basically a t shaped piece of plastic that I can use velcro to attach my phone to that way i can attach the phone vertically or horizontally.

Also feel free to post pictures of any cell phones mounted in a Sonic!

There was a member here that had cut some out of plexiglass. I can't remember who, maybe someone else does.

IIRC, he was also offering to sell them.

I bought a cheap dollar general windshield AC vent mount and the AC vent attachment slides right into the card slot. Worked for me. 10$

Nice. Been trying to figure out how I can mount my cell phone for navigation and what to do with that card holder.

I got one at Walmart for around $7. It has a flat metal mount with 3m doublesided tape to let you mount it anywhere. I bent the mount on a 90 degree angle and it slides perfect into the card slot. I'll get a pic tomorrow.

Well after a lot of looking at cell phone / gps mount options, I decided to give the Mountek MT5000 a try. It utilizes your CD slot as a mount point. I figured I put the mountek in there upside down and hope the screw doesn't obstruct the view of the radio display too much. The phone should block the buttons below the radio (of which I rarely use) so that shouldn't be an issue. However, if you didn't have the connectivity package, this mount probably wouldn't be so good as you're basically covering all the radio buttons with it.
