Chevy factory alarm?

How good is the factory alarm on a Chevy...just wondering if I should upgrade the one on the Sonic or if it will be plenty good for range and security?

Does Chevy offer a remote car starter option?

It will be great considering the onstar my Chevy app and all are integrated together I believe. Anyone gets in your car besides you and you will know about it. That and lojack combined make it extremely efficient.

but one thing i dont like about the onstar is the big brother aspect of it X-D i sure wish it's an option instead of a stupid ass worthless standard on all gm's

Onstar is included when you by the car, but only for the first bit (depends on the trim lvl i believe.) After that period has expired you do have to pay for it, but I figure that it is worth having it because it will make most insurance companies rates go down.
