Found this link on the Chevy Sonic Canadian site. While was looking through the US Chevy Sonic site I got curious about the Canada side of things. Looks like they got a newsletter to sign up for and will email you with more details on the car:

So, I got an E-mail from one of the Chevy dealers in my area (Buffalo NY, West Herr) saying the following:

Have you had the opportunity to drive the All New Sonic yet? Is there a time this week you may be available to come in, and meet with us? I know how busy we can all be, and our time is extremely valuable, so if you’d like, I can bring the car to your home or office for a test drive!!

If numbers are what you’re looking for, I will send them over right away! Are you looking to lease or buy?
Do you receive the GM Employee discount from a family member, or do you have a friend who works for GM?

Perhaps you receive the West Herr Employee Select Discount through your employer, and don’t even know it?!?
How about a trade-in? We are always looking to keep our used car inventory fresh with new trades, and our appraisers are always available to make you an offer immediately!!

they only mention the sonic once, so it makes me feeling it was just a "fill in the car name here" kind of a thing...

I don't know how to take it! ...did they get a test car already? Is it spam?
I'll call and find out in the coming days but hummmm.....thoughts?

Wow, that is very impressive if it is true!!! I would call for sure and ask them if they really meant the Sonic or if it was a misprint and its the Cruze or something like that. Could be a great chance to try out the car, take some sneak peek pictures and stuff!

There has been Sonic's spotted out on the road. Maybe they want you to test drive a test car to get a feel of how the Sonic will do in the market.

Sorry, that sort of an automatic thing that goes out after business hours.* I met with my new car manager, and he isn't positive on an exact release date, only that it will be later this year.* I will save your information, and as soon as I hear more, I will contact you!!

Too bad. I need a car, and I WANT IT! Chevy needs to release it sooner rather than later!

And side note: I know this is mentioned in another post but isn't sad that this girl had to ask her boss what the sonic was and stuff? "...there should be pictures online...?" really lady, really?

I'm sure they will be in contact with you fairly soon though if they think you are serious about buying the car.
