Child safety

Went to the Utah auto expo this weekend and noticed something interesting on the "loaded" rs they had. I also have an RS 13' but mine has two buttons on the center part right behind the cgi lighter...one for TC/abs and one for child rear auto locks. This new one only had the tc/abs button. My question is, how many people have two buttons, and how many have one? Is this just an extra feature mine came with?

12s and 13s have 2 buttons. Traction control/stabilitrac and child safety lock. 14s have the child safety lock on the drivers door.

My 12 has them on the center console. I think Blue Hedgehog is on to something .


Now my dads car had an audible child safety lock, sounded like "don't pull on that dumba$$". Worked pretty good, was free, and it'd learn ya for life not to pull on the handle lol.

My Dads audible alarm didn't activate fast enough for me the first time I pulled on the handle while we were driving. I almost fell out of the truck. That was the last time I touched the door handle while we were in motion. lol

My 2014 has two buttons. One for traction control, one to pop the truck.
