Climate Control Issues

I'm having a bit of trouble with the mode knob on my climate control. One evening I switched the front defrost on and it was blowing air onto my feet as well as the windshield. Then when I went to turn it back to the upper vents for some fresh air it wouldn't turn past the foot setting. After playing with the controls a bit I got it to switch back, but I'm going to have to take it in I guess and have this looked at.

Anyone else having climate control issues?
