Code 72

Hello,
I've had my 2013 Sonic LT for about 2.5 years now, and for most of it my dash has been giving me a code 72, and my odometer won't read. Initially I had called the dealership because I couldn't find any info online or in the maual, and they told me it would cost 150 just to read it. After a couple years I have finally discover that it simply means that the dash was installed incorrectly. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm not really sure how to go about fixing it, nor do I understand why it worked for a while after buying it at a used dealership but then stopped out if no where.

This is me too. 2013 Chevy sonic. Odometer stopped reading months after I got it from a used car lot. Error code is 72 and 73, which is ridiculous because it does t have all wheel drive for error code 73. I was told by a Chevy service center that the error codes were different because the car was assembled out of the country… idk. I’ve paid the diagnostic a few times and no one seems to be able to fix it or understand it. Very annoyed.
