Hey I just bought a 2017 Chevy sonic LT RS 1.4 turbo. I’ve got a coolant leak coming from the lower passenger side of the radiator I put cold distilled water into it and started it with no leakage but once it get hot again it started leaking. I put about a gallon and a half into it and drove it home, about three miles or so. and it leaked out about half a gallon but the temp light didn’t come on this time. any help would be appreciated as I bought the car today and have no idea what I’m looking at when I open the hood.

Also how easy of a fix would that one coolant pipe be or if someone could provide a part number that’d be amazing

If you want to do upgrades to the cooling system, including the rad, ZZP sells good metal parts for the cooling system. The damned plastic pipes are the Achilles heel for this car.
(I had a leak, dealer fixed it and even though I told them to replace ALL the plastic at my expense, they didn't and it popped again in a different place months later)
