Cooling fan replacement question

So I am going to replace my cooling fan this evening and I am trying to get some more information first. I have looked all over the interwebs and cannot find the process/steps to remove the fan. I have seen that the radiator is removed from the front. I gave it a go last night but could not get it around the radiator hoses.. so my question is.. do I just have to pull the radiator hoses and reservoir then pull the fan/shroud out on the engine side? Or am I going to have to pull it out of the front of the car?

any help would be appreciated! I have tried to speak with a tech at multiple dealerships and they won't allow a tech on the phone,as they are too busy.

Why can't you just try to move the tank out if the way to get at it? Hold it back with a bungee cord.

Its so much more complicated then that lol. You have to pull the drivers side radiator hose and either pull or bend over the intercooler hose and then it can finally be fished out. Thats if you are lucky and can get to the lower shroud bolt without taking off the splash apron.

Man figures out small car has stuff in the way of everything. Say what want about the corollla/matrix but you can change the radiator and fan in your pajamas. .
