DDM Brace In Snow ?

wondering if any one else has driven in snow with the rear brace, and if they felt the handling was affected by the bar.

personally i have been driving with the bar in the snow for a month or so, and so far i feel as tho the back end is a lot easier to control as opposed to with out the bar. prior to having the bar i had spun out a few times last year, so far the roads have been the same if not worse then last year and i have yet to spin out. its entirely possible that the bar does nothing to the handling in the snow and i just think i feel a difference. which is why i was wondering if any one else has had the opportunity to test it in the snow.

I didn't notice much of a difference in the snow, if any after installing the brace

I just put my brace on a few months ago but never drove my sonic in the snow before that

I have the brace but have not had a chance to drive my Sonic in the snow yet. What the brace is designed to do, regardless of road surface, is to improve handling in the front end by limiting roll in the rear suspension. In limited traction conditions, that tendency toward body roll is reduced as there is less lateral friction to be had. I suspect the rear brace will not make much difference in winter weather, but it may cause the rear end to come around somewhat more easily.

I never noticed a difference with it installed in snowy weather

I snow rally race with the ddmworks bar... Helps when sliding... Hah
