DDM Short Shifter

They last time ddm posted on this thread regarding the 2013+ shifter was way back in April. I honestly think this product is not going to happen.

Hate to say but I gave up back in Nov/Dec and bought an MTech, but glad to see DDM is moving forward with theirs to bring another option to market!

I put in the M Tech one yesterday and it's seriously awesome. Couldn't imagine the DDM would be any better.

Same here, got mine in yesterday also, after putting up a fight removing the stock arm. Such a vast improvement over stock. Now just have to order both cable clamps.

Be careful, I've heard that the short shifter doesn't offer enough clearance for the cable clamps to fit. I could be wrong but it's just what I've read on here.

@ SuperSonicRS and AshesToArmor Did you have to drill the plate covering the nut as shown by the install directions or did you pry it off? Thanks

On the 2012 you do have to drill the cap out. On the 2013 and newer, the acorn but is already exposed.

No drilling necessary, just need to ratchet off the nut! (Hint: it can be a bit of a beyotch since there's little room to operate in there.)

I too would be interested in something like this. Not used to the long throws of my sonic.
